Insurance Claims

Your order is insured by DD on the basis of the rate specified. Please inspect the shipment and count the number of cartons before signing the receipt. In case of any discrepancies, please contact the delivery company in writing and inform DD  accordingly. In order for us to process your claim quickly and efficiently, we kindly ask you to enclose a copy of the following: Invoice, delivery note, non-delivery/short landing certificate, and any other relevant documents.

Damages and/or missing cartons

Visible damages/missing cartons: Sea, Air, Truck & Courier: Immediately add a note  that goods are damaged/missing and make a precise statement describing which pallet or cartons are broken/missing. If possible, take pictures of any damage.

Non visible damages/missing cartons: Claims must be made within the 4 days, starting from the date of receipt of the goods. If you do not make your claim within the timeframes above, your right to claim expires.


A guarantee is issued by DD from the date of purchase. This guarantee covers defects in material or workmanship, regardless of the manufacturer’s guarantee. Please note, that the invoice is your guarantee certificate.

We regularly check the products arriving at our warehouse to ensure the quality and and ensure they are of a high standard, which means you may experience that the original packing of your product has been resealed with
